Bio: Dr. Sarah Prescott is Associate Professor of Chemistry in the Science and Technology Division. In addition to teaching, she conducts research in comparative genomics and the use of case based approaches to learning. After receiving a B.S. in Biochemistry from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, a M.Ed. in Secondary Education from UNH, and a Ph.D. in Genetics also from UNH, Dr. Prescott joined the UNH Manchester full-time faculty in September 2006. Dr. Prescott's research seeks to understand how genomes maintain their stability, using the model organism Caenorhabditis elegans (C.elegans). She also works in the area of Green Chemistry Education.

My Instructional Challenge: I am looking for an online textbook or other resources to use in my online Biochemistry course. I already incorporate animations and other external links, and am looking for a free online text to supplement the course so that students do not have to purchase a textbook. I am also interested in learning more about the general use of technology and any new apps, etc.
