Bio: I taught as an adjunct faculty at UNH for many years. I also worked at the Institute on Disability/UNH providing technical assistance and professional development to NH schools on the topic of inclusive education. My current work is at Plymouth State University where I coordinate a graduate-level teacher education program in Elementary Education, as well as a Master's degree program for practicing professionals.
My Instructional Challenge: A major portion of my work for next year will be to develop a fully online Master's degree program for experienced teachers seeking to deepen their practice. My challenge is to build a fully online program that embodies rich curriculum and rich relationships. How do I expand what I know how to do with technology to bring more of the person-to-person aspects of a face-to-face course into an online program? I suspect half of the answer is technology; I suspect half of the answer is about teacher narrative as a tool for professional growth.
