    I am a professor of biology at Keene State College. I teach Animal Behavior, Evolution and Human Behavior, Tropical Marine Biology, Invertebrate Zoology and Ecology & Evolution. I run a coral reef monitoring program in the Turks and Caicos Islands, and do research on spider behavior. I have spearheaded a movement to use OER in several Biology courses in our department. For the past few semesters, I have incorporated methods of Open Pedagogy in my courses. Recently I served as a Faculty Fellow in the KSC Faculty Enrichment program where I facilitated a learning community on Open Pedagogy and helped to organize an Open Education speaker series.     Dan Carchidi is Associate Director of Academic Technology at the UNH Durham campus. Dan is a member of the working group that is responsible for organizing Open Education efforts at UNH.  He was most recently Director of Special Projects and Program Manager within MIT's Office of Digital Learning where he led MITx (MIT's Massive Open Online Course development effort) and the MITx Fellows Program. I have a Masters in Internet Strategy Management from Marlboro College Graduate School and a Masters in International Administration from the School for International Training Graduate Institute. I have been involved in organizational development in non-profits and educational institutions here and abroad for over 25 years.     Jenny Darrow is Director of Digital Learning and has been collaborating with faculty on web-enabled projects for over 15 years. Jenny works with faculty to design strategies that are centered on sound pedagogy and she is a passionate advocate of using digital tools to help students learn. Her current interests are Open Education and how the resulting ethos of DIY (do-it-yourself) supports student empowerment. She earned her Master of Arts in Teaching with Technology (MAT-T) degree from Marlboro College Graduate School in 2000.  In her free time, she enjoys finding new running trails, adventures in the mountains and hanging out with her son and husband.     Fran Keefe is an Instructional Designer in  Academic Technology at the UNH Manchester campus. Fran serves on the committee that is responsible for organizing Open Education events. Fran has been an instructional designer for over 26 years working in higher education exclusively including Boston University, Daniel Webster College, Simmons College, Rivier University and now University of New Hampshire. Fran is completing her Doctorate at Simmons College and received her Med. in Instructional Design from University of Massachusetts Boston. Read More
