GSC ATI 2019 Application

University System of New Hampshire's
9th Annual Academic Technology Institute (ATI)
Open Education: Building Connection, Collaboration & Community
@ Granite State College, Concord, May 28-30, 2018

Each year, up to 10 GSC faculty are selected to participate in the ATI joining 40-45 other faculty from the University System of NH (USNH).  In addition to the two and a half-day event, participants (Open Ed Ambassadors) will commit to a year-long project incorporating open educational resources and/or open pedagogy into a GSC course to be offered in either Fall 2019 and Winter 2020.  There will be follow up events in the fall, winter and spring with the latter being an opportunity for faculty to showcase their projects.  An evaluation of all of the open education projects will be conducted by an outside evaluator to measure the impact of the project.  The stipend for participating in the ATI is $2000. (To learn more, see Academic Technology Institute and What is Open Education?)

The ATI was established in 2011 to bring faculty together from all 4 USNH instittuions to explore the pedagogy and tools as well as new thinking around using technology in the classroom.  In 2015, the ATI expanded its theme with the addition of the Open Education Initiative. Over 320 faculty have participated in the ATI to date.
