Dan Carchidi is Associate Director of Academic Technology at the UNH Durham campus. Dan is a member of the working group that is responsible for organizing Open Education efforts at UNH. He was most recently Director of Special Projects and Program Manager within MIT's Office of Digital Learning where he led MITx (MIT's Massive Open Online Course development effort) and the MITx Fellows Program. Previously, he managed the Instructional Development Center at UNH where he was responsible for promoting and supporting the campus-wide use of instructional technology for online and face-to-face courses. Dan has also served as the Publication Director at MIT OpenCourseWare where he was responsible for the overall budget, schedule, quality, and team management of the OpenCourseWare publication, which included over 2000 courses from MIT's 33 academic departments as well as MIT's Highlights for High School web site.
