Donna Driscoll

Dr. Driscoll received her associate degree in 1996 from the Community College System of NH; she obtained a baccalaureate degree in 2007 and a Masters of Science in Nursing Education (MSN) degree in 2010 from Saint Joseph's College of Nursing in Maine. She received her Doctorate of Nursing Practice Degree (DNP) from Chamberlain College of Nursing in 2016.

Her research focused on the new graduate RN and simulation training to assist with clinical reasoning and the nurse’s response to patient clinical emergencies.

Dr. Driscoll began teaching in 2008 and her career at Plymouth State University in 2015.  She has taught a multitude of nursing courses and enjoys working with students in class and the simulation center. In 2017 she implemented the electronic health record in the PSU simulation center.

Dr. Driscoll’s professional nursing experience includes, medical surgical nursing, critical care, leadership, and her true passion of emergency nursing.
