As the Director of Academic Technology at Community College System of New Hampshire (CCSNH) Alisa Kadenic-Newman is responsible for CCSNH’s educational technology strategies, policies, and oversight of day-to-day operations. Alisa’s focus is on integrating technology into teaching and learning and continuous improvement of a number of applications, including the learning management environment (Canvas) and third-party integrations. Alisa also teaches as an adjunct professor at NHTI, Concord’s Community College (Math Department) and River Valley Community College (Business Department) and is committed to ensuring that technology enhances, engages, and motivates students to learn. Before moving to NH and joining NHTI in 2007 and the Chancellors Office later on, Alisa worked as an IT consultant both in the US (New York and Washington DC) and the UK (London). Alisa holds a BEng in Mechanical Engineering and MSc in Computer Science from University of Hertfordshire, United Kingdom.
