Backwards Design with Open Pedagogy:

Participants will identify one course objective from a course of their choosing, and apply backwards design principles to identify appropriate assessments, activities, and open resources for that objective. Opportunities for Open Pedagogy projects will be evaluated. Participants will leave with a personalized rubric for evaluating OER course materials, a module map with all OER and assessment content identified, and a workflow for transitioning additional course modules to OER as desired.
